Kay’s inspiration for The Quitting Edge came when she crossed the finish-line of her first triathlon just 100 days after quitting a 20-year smoking habit. Overcome with emotion, she realized it wasn’t the triathlon that caused the tears … it was the fact that, in the past 100 days, she had completely transformed her life, her attitudes and her passions. She knew, right then and there, that she could help others do the same and shortly thereafter, The Quitting Edge was formed.
